Visa changes?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

That's great to know. Thanks. I remember when it was 20/25 ?Dollars, ok so it's gone up a bit. No doubt so has the price to xtend it as well....
The price of a visa went up about a year ago (for the first time in about 20 years), the extensions didn't go up.

phuketrichard wrote:if ur over 50 or so ask for the ordinary visa ( $35) and than get the ER ( retirement extension- so far no requirements or financial proof ) and u dont need deal with work permits or fines if they crack down
of course IF ur going to work get the Business extension EB
Both; 3,6, 12 month extensions, i have heard, are the same price.
So what is the price for the ER retirement extension and can one get it later at a travel agency etc. So far they only quoted me, Mattah in Sihanoukville, $50 for one month, $80 for 3 months and some other for longer times. They never said anything about " retirement extension".

I don't think they have an email address, but I've got their fax number here somewhere. Let me find it and report back. Don't worry, you can send a fax from the Post Office.

Are you aged 60 or over zmth ? ( And do you even read what is posted ? )According to Fourkinnel, Ana travel will only apply for ER visa extension for people over 60. AFAIK they are the only place NOT doing ERs without preconditions. So, if you are under 60 and you want an ER, then go to Mottah or somewhere else.

EVERYTHING you are asking about visas has already been asked here on the forum, and all the new info on the new visas is on one of the MANY visa threads here.
Visa prices and types of visas and names of travel agents, everything is already here, so do a forum search and look for yourself. You do not need a telephone for this.

Why does it have to be such a drama ? Just go to a travel agent, tell them what you want, and give them your passport and money.
To work, you need EB visa/ not-working, ER visa. Choose 3, 6 or 12 months. :fool:
