VIP Nightlife nomination

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Just an update on Alice Bar (can’t find the original thread), the bar passed the “no girls here” test, it would even be kids friendly if there wasn’t a backpacker smoking weed on the terrace.
My partner can smell competition at 200 meters if wind in the right direction. Her verdict: “yes it’s fine here, you can come for a drink no problem”.

I’m happy to nominate anyone who has met me in person (I’m the short fat older guy with glasses walking around my street 130 bars checking that everything is running smoothly) and who will give me their real identity so I can recognise you. As a bar owner discretion is my middle name, so I won’t identify you to any other CEO members.

Not sure I'd be so free wheeling, personally. Some form is required rather than just a wink and ID. That's just me though, I guess, and perhaps doesn't represent the group.

It’s good to know that everyone in the group has been vouch for. I’m a candidate and will wait that someone who knows me IRL stands up for me.
Then I’ll ask him what the @$#%* I had to wait so long. Jesus. Are all my friends Mormons or something like that?

showing respect to the ladies? Not a tight arse and buying the odd lady drink?
The ability to be able to consume your body weight in Klang yet still remain on your bar stool?
be able to projectile vomit across the street then move on to spirits?

Sheesh, I'm landing next Saturday and was hoping for a bit more insight into the nightlife...please enlighten me

Is this a secret forum a general drinking establishment discussion? If so, why keep it as a private forum?

I used to like Rehab, like Lonestar, Touk RIverside, Alchemy, Long After Dark, Samai. I need to plan my upcoming travel to Cambodia, any new places to drink to excess?
