Usernames and personalities

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

If we use the OPs example, would that mean that a member that chooses to go by the name of "that genius" could be suffering from delusions of grandeur.

Any-one want to have
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Yes, it was aimed at me after I dared to suggest that saying an Arab or Asian who had French citizenship wasn't 'really' French was racist.

I stand by that, it was, however, said in a lighthearted way, but someone took umbrage. When a government issues a passport, then for all intents and purposes that person is a citizen, it doesn't really matter what others think.

How many of us originally came from the countries we now hold passports for, if we go back all the way? The story of mankind is one of migration, it can't always suit our politics.

I kind of prefer people with a bone to pick speak plainly, but that's forums.

It's a sarcastic comment, some arsehole on TOF sarcastically referred to me many years ago...so now you know

Not sure why we have to explain this, tbh

UT, thanks for staying out of it...as usual.

Are only you allowed to stir shit when it has already been sorted by PM?

I'm very aware of my many shortcomings, for someone to suggest narcissism is just a joke, I mean Jesus, look at the shape I'm in for starters. Secondly, I don't even have a Master's degree, and I nearly failed mathematics in high school...I only speak one language fluently...and I'm in Cambodia.

But yes, according to the thread, I think I've arrived/am perfect. Doh.

You remind me of KiR UT, that streak that just can't resist...

Seems like the one with delusions of grandeur is the mod who sends PMs saying 'watch it, buddy'.

Yes, SIR! :dragonchase:
