USA $$$$$

Post by Duncan »

The US dollar getting stronger,,,, national debt still getting larger, in spite of promises to pay off trillions by the year dot.,,,, Money machines still printing paper $$$$,,, Back to firing rockets , bombs and cruse missiles at millions of dollars a pop, to keep workers employed at making them. [ cannot have the Chinese making them ]

So where to from here, looks like back to where the good old USA was 5 or 6 years ago.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.

Fracking and shale will make the US pretty much energy self sufficient in 10-15 years according to most experts. They'll be producing more oil than the Saudis pretty soon. There's so much natural gas that energy intensive businesses are moving back because it's so damn cheap. It costs 5X as much in Europe. The $ might be a good long play.

And while we are on that subject Mr USA , [ Mr President ] WTF is a gallon in this modern day of metrics and computers. How can the most powerful, educated country in the world, [ not my opinion ] still be using miles, yards, ounces and pounds and have dollar bills printed on paper that is of lower quality than the Cambodian Daily paper .

What's that got to do with anything. The world price of oil, is the world price of oil. Some place subsidize like the Saudis and some put big taxes on, like the UK. As far US self sufficiency, Google it yourself or read this: http://brussels.gmfus.org/growing-u-s-e ... sequences/ Here's the opening snippet - "The United States is well on its way to becoming largely self-sufficient in oil and gas and could overtake Saudi Arabia as the world’s biggest supplier of hydrocarbons by 2020."

But, if America becomes the world' biggest producer of oil as you say, then who the fuck are they going to invade, themselves?

CANADA ! They would be a 'sitting duck'. They probably have more oil - they just haven't got at it yet. Just because the US produces the most, it doesn't mean they have the most.

Call call but not an easy place to invade, I see similarities to the Operation Barbarossa which as we know ended badly for Germany. The problem with Canada is the weather and it only has 4 seasons. Almost winter, winter, still fucking winter, oh and road closed due to construction
