USA $$$$$

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

By making people who make a fucking shitload of money actually pay taxes. I've come 180 on this in the last 20 years. 25% flat tax - no loopholes, accountants, tax lawyers etc. It'll streamline the economy and make those really smart people who work tirelessly to keep the rich and corporations from paying tax use those big brains to do something actually productive for the economy. BTW, has anybody looked at the demographics of retirement in the industrial world ? Social Security may be a basket case, but this turd smells like a rose compared to most everyone else. In 2050 China will have 64 retirees to each worker due to the 1 child policy.

I taught in China last year, the 1 child policy has been 'greatly relaxed' for those that can afford to demonstrate they can support more than one child (i.e. bribe the right official).

They are indeed, that 1 child policy has got suicide rates through the roof... I have not experienced another culture as depressed as the Chinese youth.

Ron Paul supported the flat tax, but since its a fair tax and he is not an attorney/beholding to the bar associations, he and his son can never have a chance to run for president and bring some honesty to the corrupt American government. Dr. Ben Carson for President!

the real money is in MANAGING a crisis NOT IN SOLVING IT!
