If anyone knows where to get please let me know.

Plaquenil also know as Hydroxychloroquine.


It's an old malaria medication used in arthritis treatment too.

Simple product that should be widely available in SE Asia.

Have you tried Pharmacie de la Gare ? I've heard that they will order in most things, (legal of course), if they don't have it in stock.

Got it from an hospital.

Pharmacies are not allowed to sell now there isn't too much of it available.

I recommend buy some.

Seems highly effective combined with the common azitromicin antibiotic.

I was told yesterday by a pharmacist pharmacies don't sell it because the side effects can be quite severe.

A lot of the malarial drugs have bad side effects. There are class action lawsuits for some of the newer ones like mefloquine. Are you self-medicating your family member, or are his/her doctors recommending it, but can't get any?

Antibiotics are not going to be any use unless they have already reached the pneumonia stage. Not unless you're looking to give them MRSA from their intubations.

People are looking for it because some news said it's currently th best tested drug so far against Corona.
Saved from Corona, dead by kidney failure or whatever are the side effects.
Don't forget the water buffalo

I'm glad to hear you were able to get some.

What's the current state in Italy? Are hospitals overrun and it's okay for sick to stay home self treat?
I'm just curious
