Unhappy Guy Tries to Burn Down Girlfriend's House(VIDEO)

Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: A suspect was arrested and handed over to police, after he tried to burn down a rented house in Samaki Village, Russey Keo District, on 29 September 2018.
At 10:40 the previous evening, a fire broke out next to the house, but was rapidly extinguished by the homeowners, assisted by their neighbors. Later, on checking the security camera, they saw that the arsonist was 18-year-old Noun Gangke. When apprehended by police, the suspect confessed immediately that he had taken some gasoline to burn down his girlfriend's house, because he was crazy in love with her, and she had another boyfriend.

Wait......you burn down house for reasons other than want $$ for drink or new moto?? OK, time to add unhappy in love to the list..

UPDATE: The unhappy guy's girlfriend had in fact replaced him with another girl. Presumably he thought that she might change her mind, (and/or her sexual orientation), if he set fire to her mother's house.

Police say that, according to the mother of the girl, the fire completely destroyed her house, causing about $10,000 in damages.
The accused has been charged with intentionally causing damage and faces up to two years in jail if convicted.
