GFC can be funny, but more important is that he's right about 'merican police vs British. The Brits don't give guns to all their police, only the best trained. All US police are armed, even the guy directing traffic. So no matter how shitty you are at handling your gun, you'll still be issued one. And the job has one of the strongest unions in the country, so no they wouldn't lose their job for being bad at it (they won't even lose it for killing innocent people most of the time).

So who is more likely to have better marksmen on average? The force that issues everyone a gun or the force that issues only the elite guns? I'm sure US police have a some great marksman but all the shitty and useless cops destroy the average.

And note, I'm not against an armed police force, just pointing out why a random sampling of armed British police vs armed US police will logically result in the Brits winning.

American police have been trained by the federal government to treat every situation in a military manner. The US federal government has given all police forces in America military weapons, vehicles and training. The powers that be in Washington DC (attorney/bar associations), are trying to circumvent "Posse Comitatus" (18USC1385)( Military can't get involved in civil matters), by training a nationwide para-military force/police departments. Before you comment, look some of this up. The truth is out there, don't look foolish without some knowledge on the subject.

Almost every town in America has a SWAT team sponsored by the federal government. Almost all the Federal letter Agencies have SWAT teams.(Does the Tennessee Valley Power Authority really need a SWAT team or the Park Service, or the Office of Personnel?) It doesn't matter if a Republican or Democrat is the Pres, he was put their by the powers behind the throne and is beholding to them to suppress the common people. Why do you think there so many give away programs in the US? Crumbs to the poor and the mass's to keep them in line. (let them eat cake!)

There is a line in the Declaration of Independence (this was about throwing out the rif-raf from America), that states when a government gets so oppressive and corrupt, it is the "Duty" of the people to throw it out. This is what the black-suited para-military police are all about, keeping the corrupt judicial system and the elitists in power.
