tuktuk app services, which is better?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. PassApp great for tuk tuks - first time i used them was after being quoted $6 for a journey off a tuk tuk one way . the Passapp arrived quickly took us there for $2.50 (on the meter), havent used tuk tuks since. I used to use Exenet for Cars but not recently and have heard they have gone downhill as in not collecting people/cancelling trips.

I have used Exnet, Uber, 711Go and Itsumo. I have found them all good most of the time.
I got a message from Uber today. They are now officially launching and promo code UberPPLaunch gets you $4 off your next 10 trips, expiring 15 October. Happy ridesharing!

I just tried 711Go for the first time. Turned up in 3 minutes. Just under 8km journey and cost less than $3. I'm never using a motodop again.

I've been using 711go almost exclusively the last 3 weeks. I've never had to wait longer than 5 minutes, the only problems that came up were when I had a a close destination pinned and the total was less than $1, sometimes they would accept then cancel 3 minutes later. For shorter trips just give directions would be my suggestion and don't type in a destination.

If you want to live in Cambodia you should learn the language. The language here is Khmer, not English, Tagalog or whatever that shit people from New Zealand speak is.

Secondly, if you live a $6 ride away from work, you should either learn to drive yourself or move closer to work. If you're spending $12 round trip every day you're dropping $300+ on transportation. Use that money to move closer to where you work. Use your head.

I generally use PassApp. From Alma in TTP to around Sundance on 172 for about 7900 reil. About a 5km trip. Tuktuk drivers on the same corner won't got for less than $3.50 for the same trip. I did come back from 172 for $2, but usually $3. I would always put in the destination in when ordering so no need for miscommunication.
