Which State and why do they have to monitor every aspect of their citizenry?newkidontheblock wrote: ↑Tue Oct 09, 2018 2:26 am It does make logical sense in a perverted way. The state needs to monitor every aspect of their citizenry with facial recognition to GPS cellphone location monitoring to heaven knows what else. This creates enormous amounts of data.
All that data requires very fast pipes in order to create a real time status on every citizen all the time.
And large data centers with enormous processing power to boot.
And in case you did not know, every cell phone is trackable down to mere meters, even if you turn them off so that exists already. You have to remove the battery to stop your phone from being tracked. Also, there is an application in nearly every mainframe switch that allows security intercepts. All of this has been around since the inception of GSM.

In the UK, teachers have one of the easiest jobs in the world. More holidays than the Jewish, less hours than a union rep and no markers to achieve for their performance interviews. Just give each student a smiley face sticker and an A* pass mark.Barang chgout wrote: ↑Tue Oct 09, 2018 6:49 am What's golden sorta mall got to do with science?
