A Total disaster

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. A Total disaster

Post by vladimir »

Life is never boring for me.

On the way home today, stopped off at Total on Monivong. The retard petrol jockey overfilled my tank and sprayed petrol over my crotch. I was not amused. He apologised, what could Isay, I grabbed my change and started on my way.Slowly things started getting warmer...warmer...hot....farrrrk! Ran into a shop, ducked into the toilet, and used the bumgun to cool the nether regions down. Never realised petrol could be so painful in one's crotch, still sore hours later.

Next time I'll ask for regular, Super Man is not my style.

Vlad, my bro from another mo…a chemical burn from gasoline is serious. I hope you are okay.
This what I found on the web.

Hi,
A gasoline burn in the vaginal area can be very serious. You would need to consult your Ob/gynae for a complete examination to look for the extent of burn. In the meantime-
- first of all you need to wash the vaginal area properly to take away any chemical if present. this you can do by taking a hip bath. If there is a small tub, put some water in it and sit in it for 3-4 minutes with your hips submerged to wash the vaginal area. Repeat this 2-3 times with fresh water.
- Take oral anti-inflammatory like tylenol/motrin
a
- applying ice packs will decrease the inflammation, so continue doing that
- you need to apply antibiotic ointment in the vaginal area
- do not apply any soap, or scrub the vaginal area or any hydrocortisone cream. You do not know the extent of burn. Applying these things might worsen the burn. Consult a doctor as soon as possible..
Regards,
Dr. PG "

P.S. On a serious note, I know how that feels. Take care bro and remember it could've been worse. Thank god nobody was smoking.

Lucky no one was smoking. Or there wasn't a spark from the starter/ignition system.

I'm sorry, but LOL.
You didn't get off the bike while the guy was filling the tank or what ?

Live dangerously.
And boycott Total. They are bastards.
The Erika sank 75km (45 miles) off the coast of Brittany in December 1999, contaminating 400km of coastline in one of France's worst environmental disasters.

In 2008, Total, the Erika's owner and its manager, were found guilty of negligence, as was Rina, the Italian company that declared the Erika seaworthy.

Total was fined 375,000 euros (£280,000) and ordered to pay nearly 200m euros in damages to the French state and the local fishing industry.
All these years later, Total have paid peanuts and you can still find tar-oil in the sands of the beaches of Brittany.
