Toppin the charts!
Wohoo! Haven't been checking in on our google standings lately... being busy and whatnot. But decided to have a look today and for 2 of my keyword sets we're nailing the top slot! Thanks for being awesome guys.

Bodge: This ain't Kansas, and the neighbours ate Toto!
Re: Toppin the charts!
Is that mean CEO is becoming popular? I am asking honestly.
បើសិនធ្វើចេះ ចេះឲ្យគេកោត បើសិនធ្វើឆោត ឆោតឲ្យគេអាណិត។
If you know a lot, know enough to make them respect you, if you are stupid, be stupid enough so they can pity you.

Re: Toppin the charts!
As internet users Google search and then follow links from the search result, Google databases record and analyze which links they choose to follow based on the search term, such as "Cambodia expats". The closer your website is to the number 1 search result, the better you are doing for that search condition.Samouth wrote:Is that mean CEO is becoming popular? I am asking honestly.
So, sort of, yes.

But then again, OD's brain works a bit differently than most people, so who knows what he could have been on about.

Re: Toppin the charts!
Well, yeah, putting 75% of the site name into google might do that......
'cambodia forum' puts this place in 4th, behind Khmer440.com, livingincambodia.com (lol) and ngoforum.org (?)
This is a nice little place, good to read for a different perspective on things (minus the attention whoring christian stuff, which should be reined in IMO), but as for taking over the internets.... not really going to happen, is it?
'khmer forum' google search gets k440#1 and CEO #10!
It's all about the wording for delusion.....

How so, oh bearded cult member? Your incessant Jesus claptrap has far more going for it in that respect. As do your hate fueled rants against Islam.StroppyChops wrote:Undeniably your field of expertise.Kampong Spooner wrote:attention whoring

How are you an attention whore? A quick look at your posting history here answers that. You're also quite a negative, critical bugger, but do carry on.Kampong Spooner wrote:How so, oh bearded cult member?StroppyChops wrote:Undeniably your field of expertise.Kampong Spooner wrote:attention whoring
We 'god-botherers' (to quote you) really bother you, don't we? Why is that?Your incessant Jesus claptrap has far more going for it in that respect.
Now you're just being silly. You're an ass but that's childish, even for you.As do your hate fueled rants against Islam.

you must be a real treat at parties.
but, since you're so certain: a big part of choosing the site name was to get that result... so i'm pretty pleased it's working. just like recipies.com is happy when the word "recipies" ranks them high... its both their domain and their target audience.
"cambodia expat" and "cambodia expat forum" as keywords have both driven traffic quite well to the site. they're good keywords. and i assure you, months ago those terms weren't putting us at #1... so its good that they are now.
in the last 30 days cambodia expat forum has had about a 35% click through ratio, and cambodia expat 56%. pretty solid keywords. amusingly, your example of cambodia forum has had lower ranking, as you say, but still a click through ratio of 20%. Not bad for an average position of 5.6.
