Cafe racer hangouts in PP?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. Cafe racer hangouts in PP?

Post by jah steu »

My brother is visiting Phnom Penh soon and he is a fan of cafe-racer style motorcycles. There are hundreds of these around PP, but is there a known venue where they tend to hang out day or night?

There were lots of them around a few years ago, but I don't see many around nowadays.

Saw them at the smile mart on 63 corner with 182 a lot. Around 7 or 8 in the evening.
Very interesting bikes that some of these guys had and haircuts to match.

Motor Cafe moved up to st.337 in Toul Kork, but honestly I don't see any real gatherings there. His best bet is perhaps to join the Gentleman's Ride 2019 which is coming up around this time of year usually ("Movember", etc.) as there is always a gathering of said cafe racer type blokes.

There's a moto shop called Home Workshop in TK that specializes in cafe racers, trackers, etc., they organize rides and things like that. They've got a FB page that they post stuff on that might help.
