They are taking the advice and going to Kampot. I feel so sorry for her having to make that trip in so much pain.

Good luck. Be interesting hearing more about what helmet it was that smashed at so low impact badly injuring someone's face. I've heard the hospital in Kampot is good despite its name. .

I usually go to Central hospital on st 154 in Phnom Penh. Last time I fell off it cost me $25 to see the doctor and $25 for an xray. Doctor I saw was a bone doctor trained in Europe, as most of their doctors seem to be. Even the meds at the counter are same price as pharmacy, but... watch out for the younger Khmer doctors cos they are still wet behind the ears. Friends sone gor a bad cough and we went there saw a French trained pediatrician, but the prescription didn't work so we went back at 7 pm next day. they called him out from his home, he arrived in 30 minutes and changed the prescription , no charge! Nursing director is Philippino and at least 3 of the nurses. They have alos patched up his gf a couple of times, she seems to make falling of a bike into a hobby!

Damn, sorry to hear this Roz.

As the other kiwi said, Sonja Kill is where I’ve always been recommended to head to if anything went wrong in that part of the country.

Hope they both recover quickly and nothing serious is found when they get to the hospital in Kampot.

Had a change of plans - Ric was in too much pain to travel to Kampot so we went to Dr Dimitri and the other lady doctor at International Clinic in SNV.
He has a small fracture on his rib. GF has stitches in her nose and chin but they reckon it won’t be a bad scar

Glad they are both basically ok.

I was only chatting with your BF on messenger yesterday evening.

International Clinic is pretty decent. If hey get bad later, go straight to Sonia Kill.

Pity about the bike, would not have 1000kms on it!

I hope you bear up as the nurse.
