Expecting a parcel from Australia
Expecting a parcel from Australia
A friend in Townsville posted a parcel to me yesterday.
She was told it would get here (SNV) in six days.
I’ll let you know when it arrives.

Once you've read the dictionary, every other book is just a remix.

Is it Vegemite? Or are those folk in Townsville a bit dodgy? Is your friend a untrustworthy Kiwi? Is he/she sending contraband (Marmite)?
Otherwise why are you telling everyone?

It’s nothing illegal, just some treats from home.

Ok.
I get stuff sent all the time. Only had one issue but I think that was the dodgy eBay seller.

Six days!
BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
A birthday card to my PP PO box from Melbourne took six weeks.
A debit card my neighbour posted to me from Sydney never arrived (Aus Post tells me it would have only cost $3.60 to register it so why she didn't is a total mystery). But even still, an envelope to a PO box you would think would arrive.
Let us know if your goodies arrive by Christmas.

Re: Expecting a parcel from Australia
Posted a bath plug from Aus one time to see how long to get here. 2 weeks later got a call from Post office (PP) Went to collect and they asked for ppt. Went home got ppt and came back to post office. Confirmed it was me then asked for 3000 reil.
Buy plug = $2
Post plug = $12
Tuk Tuk X 2 trips = $8
Collection fee = $.75
Total =$22.75
Bloody thing was too small......................

Re: Expecting a parcel from Australia
A parcel arrived in 10 working days like they said it would (from Queensland). An ATM card still hasn't arrived about 6 oŕ 7 weeks after it was sent. It was in a padded envelope and with one of those skimmer protectors. A (non aTM) card may or may not have arrived after 16 days. I haven't been to check yet.
Despite what angsta states, it’s clear from reading through his posts that angsta supports the free FreePalestine movement.

I’ve had PO box in Sihanoukville and now in pp, all my parcels got here within 2 weeks and all made it including iPhone, camera, car parts and other stuff, all sent from South Australia

Semi related....
My mum recently sent my kids the collection or where’s Wally books by normal post and they were delivered direct to my apartment door.
I have had this once before when ordering something off eBay and it was delivered to my office without having to go pick it up from the post office.
