Re: Uh oh
Regarding the quick deleting of posts on the other forum, I suspect it is keyword related. I had a post with the word "forum" in it, and it got deleted before one could say "wow, they sure delete posts quickly on k440". I then made a post with "website" instead of "forum" and it did not die as quickly. I don't want to bomb the site with posts to completely test the theory, but I suspect with good reason that the word "forum" raises the jackals currently.

Even the ones I posted at 4am. The mods must be taking shifts and under orders to be extra vigilant.Jaap N. wrote:Deleted. That was quick!

Re: Uh oh
as Cambod can tell you, I like comfy chairs out front on a not too busy(noisey) street so I can pass out when I've had a bit to drink, been smoking my pipe a lot and someone starts passing around a big spliff. Please look for such a place. The Garage street is very nice for this, not too noisey but interesting stuff to see when I open my eyes to see if I'm still here.OrangeDragon wrote: #3: it's a good question, i wouldn't mind at all having a semi-official bar, and if any or the pp expat bars wish to sponsor, i'll be glad to discuss some nice cross sponsoring terms. i think, because of kir, garage would be unlikely in that as he's a regular there and it wouldn't be good to put jm in that kind of a position. perhaps lonestar? somewhere we can smoke inside or (or has a nice covered patio) would be nice... it's going to be raining a lot over the next few months.
