Every Cambodian can ride a motorbike at 12 years old. Yet, many people were shocked to see a 12-year-old behind the wheel of a car. The father is a driver, so presumably he taught his son how to drive his car.
Is it more dangerous for a kid to drive a car rather than a motorbike ?


Cambodia News (Svay Rieng): On April 12, 2020, at 4:46 pm, the police detained an underage boy who drove a car along with his brother on the public road in Vea Lngerth village, Svay Chrum district, Svay Rieng.

Mr. Pen An, Svay Chrum inspector, reported that the car driver was identified as Sok Chanrady, 12 years old, and his parents are Sok Vuthy, 36-year-old man, a driver, and Ve Somaly, 36-year-old woman, a factory worker.

According to social media, many commenters disagreed with letting the boy drive the car. So then, thelocal police searched for the kid driver, and the boy's parents were called in for reeducation, and they signed an agreement to stop their son from driving immediately.

Can he even reach the pedals?

The video of this is hilarious though. After being pulled over, the kid is eventually like 'fuck this shit' and drives off.

A more pressing question for this country would be is 30 too young to be a god-damned military general?

Well its a cartoon country so that goddamned general is just a cartoon General. Another idea is re-institute the 5 star general and even create a six star general. That way 4 star general is just a junior rank. problem solved.
