today, I met Jesus

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

today, I met Jesus

Post by Arthur&Hobson »

I saw this guy near riverside. He was wearing a robe, no shoes, a long beard, long hair, and he is white. I was told he calls himself Jesus but when I spoke to him in a few different Middle-Eastern languages, he did not understand me. Does anyone know about him? I wish I had a picture but I did not have my camera at the time.

He often wears thorns on his head like Jesus, and sometimes carries a cross around with him.

So you speak Aramaic? He might understand Koine Greek or Latin. If he is simply an avatar, then he will speak whatever he was raised to speak before becoming...THE LORD. :plus1:

I am able to speak Arabic well in some areas of the Middle-East but like many languages, pronunciation and even words may be different depending on the location. I did not think about Latin. I do remember the Lord's Prayer from Latin class at my Catholic High School. Perhaps I will try that if I see him again. That should be fun. Does he really think he is Jesus or just advertising for his religion?

Whoever he is, he's not Charles Manson because Charles Manson is Jesus Christ.

He's NOT the Messiah! He's just a very naughty boy!
