today, I met Jesus

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

There is nothing wrong with Jesus as a philosopher and teacher. I don't know about this avatar walking the streets of Phnom Penh, but so far he seems harmless enough. Why not walk a while in Jesus' sandals, the world couldn't be harmed by such ideals.

I'd go as far as saying it would have been nice if he had actually existed.

It doesn't really matter, if the philosophy is sound.

I saw Jesus again today, he was not dressed in a robe. He wore a suit without a tie and barefoot. I guess he was trying to bridge the gap between primitive and modern civilization. There was also a woman that was following him. Not sure if she was with him because she walked a meter or two behind him. This is still a traditional custom in many places in the Middle-East so perhaps she was with him.
