thx to great britain subject

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Being British, I would love to think that we were the first to develop a vaccine, but the truth is, it was a collaboration between British scientists and scientists from several other countries.

The British were simply the first to approve it for general use.

The UK only approved the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine which is a US/German collaboration. The AstraZeneca-Oxford vaccine hasn’t got approval yet in the UK.

They haven’t approved anything just given temporary permission to use it.

What action can a western Govt take, if so many people choose to do this ?

I agree,
Instead of issuing fines they should be locked up in covid detention centres until pandemic is over, a danger to national health,

The irony of it being called Sputnik is that just like the original space race, the West are acting like the Russians achievement doesn’t count because actually the real race was first to the moon because we said so and we say that anything under 1000 trial participants doesn’t count therefore your vaccine didn’t really happen.

A Christmas classic just to lighten the mood and get in the festive spirit.

Yes sir, I can boogie, I can boogie, boogie, boogie all night long.
