Those Living Cheaply Under a Grand

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

I have received a message that indicates a solution has been found. The former content of post is null and void.

That would be a shame, really!

Admins, please DO something about this, ok?

Never got any PM on it. We change it to protect us from his searching ability and US getting in trouble in case someone ELSE says something that will get us in trouble. And it's not a system that allows us to pick and choose. Imagine if it weren't there and one of the KI media group made it in here and got off a post that was directly libeous which escaped our attention for a day or two... long enough for his tech people to notice it. CEO banned from Cambodian ISPs at the least...

Hunny Bubby was just something fun we popped in there... ideally we would prefer people just not reference him by name at all. It's sort of like the eye of sauron... your just better off if it's not pointing in your direction.

We are open to other suggestions, but would rather no just copycat 440 on the HE thing.

When the wiki is set up we'll be allowing the use of his name there, however we will expect our writers and editors of that section to be much more responsible with its use to not put us in any situation of liability. Love you guys, but don't want to go to jail for you posting slander on our site.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with using a person's name; it is certainly preferable to the miserable substitute you consider "something fun."

There is ABSOLUTELY something wrong with it if the person posts anything that can be seen by the cambodian courts as defamation and that person is the most powerful individual in the country.

Going to a Cambodian prison is FAR from my list of things to experience in life.

So you think HE would like to be referred to as "HE?" I really didn't want to get into a shit slinging fight, while everything was going smoothly. But in fact there was nothing slanderous or libelous in my post. It simply said that
that particular residence was his. Your idea of "fun" seems far more disrespectful and even more dangerous than my use of his name

If you want to lose your worries then hire an editor.
