This is how to build a Khmer house during COVID-19

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Wow, that looks great! Well done. What's your kitchen benchtop made of? Is it quartz/composite?

In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

Very nice job, and mostly a beautiful house.

Looks very nice. How much did it end up costing? If you don't mind sharing the info... even a ballpark figure would be nice :)

Hi, thanks for liking it. Yes, the study has been my favourite bit of the house and a lot of attention has been paid in making it.

HI Timmy It's a piece of synthetic slate to imitate the marble. I find that it is stronger in strength than natural marble.

Thanks. :) it's a leather suitcase made by Crouch and Fitzgerald probably older than me, I sometimes still go on trips with it, very light and great for carrying clothes around.

No I don't mind at all. I planned to spend around 40k when started with some optimistic advisors saying 25k would do, by now it's around 60k being totally ready for move-in. Advisors are often optimistic, I found.
