I'm a miserable twat, but if I owned a bar and paid rent and electricity, etc. I wouldn't want a dude walking in and selling stuff in my place of business. A customer who buys a pie for $4.50 then has $4.50 less in his pocket to spend on beer and lady drinks. Also, pies are messy and smelly and are not really compatible with hostess bars. Who ends up having to throw away the boxes, napkins, forks, half eaten pies, etc.? The bar owner and his staff. It would be much less messy if the pie man were selling ballpark peanuts.

I guess the counter argument to this is "The meat pie hawker provides a convenience for your drinking customers and keeps them inside your bar drinking, when they might otherwise leave in search of pies." I don't like it though. Ban the pie man or charge him rent to do business in the bar. Percentage rent. 45 cents a pie.

Charge the flower girls rent too, it's only fair.

As I'm a gentleman I've asked every barowner if they mind me plying my trade.The only refusal I have had is barang owned bars on the bottom of 130st which will remain nameless.I do not enter bars that provide food ie Ostra but I'm welcome in the other 3 bars owned by the same guy.

That's the most in u Australian thing in Australia but most Asian bakery's still charge for sauce.

A decent pie is every Australians meal. Where are you selling them besides inside bars. What are the prices and types of filling ?
