Theft tricks

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Don’t know what a lert is but I’ll ensure I become more so when out and about.

Also, that guy is English in a “comedy” about the war. I viewed it shortly and whilst I found the parody of Germans satisfying I didn’t find the joke about the French very funny.
They don’t even sound French when speaking English.

It’s true the French helped out the war fight and saved many “good guys”.

With so many other people joking, I occasionally have an attempt at humor myself. Sorry if this is not appreciated.

Most of what I say is serious. There is just an occasional attempt at humor.

It may be a better forum if everyone was serious all of the time. But I dont think that is going to happen.

With written text, I sometimes also have difficulty knowing when people are serious or joking.

How often do they get it wrong, and give you too much change?
Regularly. As most Cambodians in shops are lucky to have more then a grade 4 "education" and are trying to do calculations in 2 different currencies, what else would you expect? I get it wrong sometimes and I'm sure you all do too! Also guys for fucks sake ( you know I'm serious when I use proper speeling when I swear!) do the right thing and give any excess change back. If you don't, in a lot of places it will be taken out of their salary. If you are only making $150 a month, losing $10 or $20 a month is a fucking catastrophe and just because some arsehole thinks he's scored, or thinks "well that makes up for the times I have been overcharged in the local girlie bar" Just an out and out cunt of an act.
