The N word....

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Check yourself buddy and I will do the same.
Yes, really.

I have deleted a few things off this thread, as they are not discussing anything or making a point.

That said, our aim is not to curb areas of discussion.

If anyone wants to post racist jokes or memes, you already know of another forum where it is welcomed by the owners, so post them there.

Guys I am actually working in the Caribbean at the moment and the whole race thing here is quite interesting. For once the locals treat colour with respect and also are very open and frank about it.

When talking about colour and if you are a local of white(ish) skin you are called "clear skinned" if a local of black skin you are simply referred as Black.

Whilst they don't love the Brits much, they do respect us and local racism, whether its local against foreign, or black against white, has never risen its head. Also there is no PC bullshit, if your black you call yourself black, if white, white.

Oh one thing I have learnt if never call them African/Caribbean, seems they don't like Nigerian much either.

Awesome! Always wanted to go there for vacation.

Anyway, if blacks are allowed to call non-blacks niggers I dont see why it cannot be reciprocal. I never saw any Asians went ballistic when getting called brownies, ching chong, kimchi face etc. Upset yes.
