However, K definitely can kill you, particularly in conjunction with alcohol use. My point was that far and away the most popular rec drug of choice down here, at the moment, is Ketamine and it is almost always used in conjunction with alcohol. It definitely HAS killed people down here before and will again. And there deaths will most likely be attributed to "heart attack"

Very good point. I had forgotten about Special K. Yep, seems like nearly everyone under 40 is using it in Otres. I tried it for the first time in Zanzibar about 5 years ago. Small line was like being chemically drunk. Big line was like the world gave way. Apparently it is good for sex, but I can't for the life of me see how. I found it far too chemical and wont be trying it again. Guess it must be a generational thing.

$25-$40 for an E? Madness. By the time I had left the UK - you could get 2 for 50p (80 cents)... good quality too. MDMA powder was coming in at about 20 quid a gram...

I can't imagine using Special K for sex... more for dropping through the carpet and feeling nice.

If contemporary drug choice is an indication of the state of societies... Almost seems that people are happier when they are away from it all. Life I mean. I can understand it on a Glasgow council estate, I mean you've just got to read what UKJ writes, but on a tropical beach?

yeah when i left the UK you were looking at £10 a pill
when i was a youth you i could get them for £1 a pop, definitely no more than £2-2.50 for some good quality blue playstations which were really powerful

i'd say the main drugs in the uk now are MDMA, M-Cat(plant feed/methadrone) its an old legal high which became illegal, i'd put it in the same section as ice, its a cheap dirty drug with simular side effects, and also riding the famous K train, you can get some decent Coke in the UK now but youre going to have to fork out £60-100 for a decent quality gram

most people over here dont do lines of K they just key it and have little and often, i dont see the point tbh, id rather just get drunk, and be able to walk easier, K is definitely best used for dropping through the carpet and getting stuck in a deep hole haha

What is M-cat? Synthesized version of Cat or Mira?
If it's the natural African plant high, it's a lot better than ice. Much weaker. You intoxicate yourself by chewing about 1/4 t a 1/2 kilo of the stuff per person. Chew and spit, chew and spit. The jaw gives out and you tend to get abscesses forming where the plant matter gets in between your teeth. I have had some good times on it. It used to be an old man's drug, but nowadays the youth have picked up on it and it has become a problem. Addicts literally chew their own jaw bones away.

yeah its a synthetic version of khat, it mainly comes in power form like coke, it was massive in the UK around 2010-2012 when you could get a gram for £8-10, but is generally seen now how ice is seen in cambodia, it is seen as a dirty drug and highly frowned upon, after seeing how much it changes people over time, they lose weight, become quite skatty, and behave like most of the meth heads you see hanging around dolphin shack and sorya mall, its also easy to tell when people are on it or in possession of it because it makes your clothes stink
MDMA is now seen as the popular party drug of choice

K was big on the illegal rave scene in the UK from the early 90s on. People would buy loads of it in pharmacies in India and bring it back in liquid form, it was a gray area as far as the law went, the worst that could happen was confiscation. E was very hard to get in the UK in the late 80s and cost up to £30 each. By the time I left there in the early 2000s they were only a few pounds each. I've heard that the the precursor chemicals are much harder to source now so the pills are actually something other than MDMA. One of the chemicals is an oil that can be produced from a tree resin in Cambodia, you hear about police finding it in busts from time to time.
Silence, exile, and cunning.

Don't die by overdosing on oxy, that would just be a sad, stupid way to go.
Oxys aren't sold in Cambodian pharmacies, are they?
