The OrangeDragon is changing lairs for a while...

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

On the other hand my GF is keen to learn how to become a good cook.
When she's in pp there might be something there ;-).
I suspect something could be easily arranged :-)

She should open a western cooking school for Khmers with barang husbands.

^ No need for a cooking school...my missus watches clips on YouTube, heads off to the market to buy her supplies and surprises me with western style culinary delights regularly, as if she has been trained professionally.

All the best back in the he states OD.

Nothing like a dose of reality to make you appreciate what you have in Cambo. Anyway, I'm sure you young'uns are agile enough to pay the price and reap the rewards. Me, at 6x, I don't know if I could get up and go to work ever again and hope I never have to.

Amen! I miss Cambodia right now like I never thought I would! I'm in the States now and supposed to be headed to Saudi Arabia. I feel like saying, "fuck it!" and heading right back to Cambodia on the next flight.

Cambodia is good living!
"Life is too important to take seriously."

"Life does not cease to be funny when people die any more than it ceases to be serious when people laugh."
