The "Nauru Files" and the sob-sister industry

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

The "Nauru Files" and the sob-sister industry

Post by mammothboy2 »

Once again we are told that people from the nastiest sh*tholes of the Turd World contemplate suicide on hearing the very
mention of Cambodia

http://www.phnompenhpost.com/national/n ... -305012409

... and here is "Jane" - one of the sob-sister sorority* to do her best to make us weep in sympathy with the tragic outcasts on Nauru threatened with the dreadful fate of being sent to Cambodia.

* Her salary is paid by First World taxpayers; all those big "charities" are largely bankrolled by the treasuries of First World Governments,
not by the coins and banknotes stuffed into the collecting tins held by (paid) "chuggers" outside British supermarkets.

They have the ability to google Cambodia but failed to spot the dates of the genocide or the stability and improvements since? Maybe the UK should start distributing leaflets detailing the London Blitz of the 2nd World War to wannabe asylum seekers.
