Be on the Lookout for [NAME REMOVED] in Cambodia

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. that id pics (student card/driver license) someone photographed, not copies, but the whole cards.

so, the thief left back his belongings plus an ID while stealing other ppls passports?

superweird...

hope, nothing bad happened to him and someone staged the theft to explain his unexpected/sudden absence or so...

If you go to the scammers page there is acctually three IDs pictured (along with the passport) all contain similar but not identical names dates and pictures. This along with the fact that he is accused of stealing a passport has led me to belive that this guy is a 'catch me if you can' wanna be crook. Khoa San road and loose morals could equal a cheap holiday and a big ego.

Yeah, strange shit.

I first cut off the first ID of the 3, then the second when someone pointed that out, and now maybe I should have posted all 3 because they might all be him?

This is getting crazy.

A random post on Facebook about him:

Omg the same guy stole my iPad, 2 passports and my whole handbag from me on 11th March in Packer Choices hostel in Phnom Penh. I will make a separate post about it and I hope you don't mind if I repost the photo..."

He sounds like bad news.

One thing which I find strange is most dodgy people dont have public access to they Facebook accounts( for example GM :stir: ) so he either is innocent or fucking stupid....

ps
my Facebook account is open for all to look at....nothing to hide....
I was born with nothing , and I still have most of it left.

Dear God! The guy is accused of stealing someone's bikini now!

From Facebook:

...I don't really care about getting my stuff back, it's the principle he went through my belongings. He took my bikini top for fucks sake. And we have to go home to England now because of him taking our passports. I'm just incredibly pissed off and want him to be punished. I can't believe he's doing this to others too. It's just so unfair.

Mine isn't. I use Facebook solely to keep in touch with friends and family.
