Re: The GBP??? WTF
I bet the Greeks are kicking themselves, what's happening to the pound is exactly what they wanted, rather than a bailout. If Juncker, Hollande and Merkel thinks that a massive drop in relative currency value is not something the PIIGS drool about, and will make people change their minds about leaving, then they are idiots. They are shooting themselves in the foot out of spite.

Re: The GBP??? WTF
Seriously, this whole Brexit thing is completely 'surreal', if you ask me. Funny how it's left to happen, and how Cameron and Farage, just dissapeared overnight. A complete game. That's all Politics is: People farming!CEOCambodiaNews wrote:
Analysts at HSBC are forecasting that the pound could fall to $1.10 and could be worth just one euro by the end of next year.
"The argument which is still presented to us - that the UK and EU will resolve their difference and come to an amicable deal - appears a little surreal," said David Bloom, head of foreign exchange research at HSBC.
How does a Gov get the people on their knees grovelling? Pull a Brexit, that's how! It was another engineered trick of theirs. Im amazed no one has mentioned this so far. In the meantime, the Pound will be destroyed, and post Brexit, there is no real evidence that it will ever recover. This means years of doubt, lack of hope, and why did 'they' do something so detrimental to Britain, when they knew full well that by 'allowing' misinformed voters whom they misinformed to pass this, it would effectively ruin everything the British have been proud of: The strong Pound.

Re: The GBP??? WTF
It appears obvious that the Gov would have known that such a decision should have only been undertaken by those who knew the FULL impact. Obviously if those who voted for Brexit knew the full facts, they would have not done so.Bertros wrote:

It was engineered from the start. Why would the Gov allow the misinformed public to do their job, on one of the most risque decisions they could ever make???

but at it's core, democracy is best when it's welded by the masses...right?shnoukieBRO wrote:It appears obvious that the Gov would have known that such a decision should have only been undertaken by those who knew the FULL impact. I'm not always right, I guess the mass isn't either. prolly ok.
aside from all that, it'll be a few (2-5) year final shake out and till then, after the rest of the world gets a piece of Britain, just like Britain got a piece of the world for the last few hundred years (yeah, we know)...it'll all settle out to where is it about now. don't you figure?
seems ok
cheers
