The cost of company...

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

That being said here is where I see the matter: the longest relationship I'd want to have these days in 45 minutes.

And soon it is down to 8.5 minutes?...
What are you supposed to do for the other 7 minutes?

Of course I also ocasionally give generous performance based bonuses :beer2:
That lady is 50...and your maid. $80 is about right.
Was wondering what sort of rejoinder I would get
Actually you can easily get a 25 year old maid for $80, fortunately my appt is serviced so I dont need one. :)
On a serious note the $70 was her financial commitment to the family which she asked me to cover when she moved in. The other stipulation was I "take care her", which like the statement "up to you" can work out expensive :( . In reality the extra cost of having a "defacto" over the last couple of years has been around $300 per month.

I read a Viet "wife" cost $600 from small villages. How would wages be paid to a "partner".
