Recently a good friend of mine asked me “Jimmy is it ok to tell my son his mum was a lady of the night?” I obviously replied with a loud no and asked him why he would want to tell his son such information ,well he said that his son is now 16 and has been asking a lot of mature questions and honestly wants to know what his mum used to do before meeting dad ,I told my friend well if it makes you feel better then sure and he agreed on the term “honesty is the best policy”

What do you guys think is the appropriate answer?

It was sarcasm! Who in his right mind would tell his kid that his mother is an ex prostitute?!? And no, i don’t have kids and want to keep it like that. Takes a huge amount of responsibility, something i may or may not be able to offer. So for me it’s clear... Well thought about, some 15+ years by now!
