Tax and service charge added to bill

Tax and service charge added to bill

Just been to eat at tourist information on riverside nice meal but got bill tax and service charge added nearly another 25% to the bill
Silly me I didn't read the tiny writing on bottom of menu
Hope this isn't a new trend
I'm standing up, so I must be straight.

i remember the first time i went to Darlin Darlin and i got charged a service charge on top of my already $5 draft beer, so the next time i went to the bar and ordered it myself, still got charged the service charge hahah

Where is "Tourist Information" on Riverside?

Also, how was the 25% made up? I've seen 10% taxes before (racket) and service charge of about 6% (another racket) but never seen a 15% service charge.

I walk past there most days, always thought it looked nice. Nor so much so now. It's part of a hotel so that would explain all the add-ons.
I'm going to drop in and take a peek at their menu and report back.

It's the only restaurant on the riverside promenade not to expensive considering location just don't appreciate the add ons to the bill never happened to me here before
