This morning I have taken my bank cards out of my phone cover and removed my Australia sim. Will only carry them when needed. If some prick is going to snatch my phone that's all I'm losing.
I never take my bank cards out. I only ever use ABA e-Cash, which has a maximum $200 a day. If I ever have cause to draw more, it requires a visit home, which ought to be enough for sober reflection of wtf am I doing!

It's going to get much worse in 2021.
I love ABA E-cash, you only need your head when you're going to the ATM, no card or phone to snatch...!
How do you remember the code if no phone?

OK, suit yourself and continue to stroll around Riverside at 11pm, but at that rate it could be quite some time before you enjoy the fun of being beaten for your valuables.

You just need your head to remember the number, I never take my phone with me, why? For using social media? playing games? Enough to encounter outside, always exciting, every day,

Also beware using Smart shop on st13 late at night.
Saw guy leave the shop to get into a tuk tuk and a hooker went for his back pocket to which he gently pushed her away.
Then out of nowhere some small pump turned up and violently smashed him in the face.
Noticed the hooker pick pocket gang only turned up when there was no security guard on the door of the shop.

It’s sad to say, but if you are out after 8pm you are a walking target. I barely visit Riverside any more, though I have had a few all nighters that ended there in the past 6 months or so. 2 friends who ended up straying from the pack got their bags snatched, so the jaos are most definitely on the prowl.

I live in TTP now and have seen a few bag snatched around 6-7pm in the past month so it doesn’t really matter where you are at.

Not to say this wasn’t happening before, but people are more desperate, brazen, most likely both.

Stay safe and be generous if/when you can. A lot are suffering!
