Trucks filling in the swamp at a fast pace.

This was a natural drainage area. Wonder how this will impact the water run off in the rainy season?

Places like Pub Street well below the level of the fill. They may be exiting at the right time!!

There’s been reports of an increase in rats and snakes invading the shop/homes in Karaoke street.

I’m astounded at the pace of construction and it’s been slowed down a bit I hear. Really?!

Otres is now a featureless dust bowl especially out past the pagoda. All trees gone. Wait till rainy season. It’ll be a quagmire.

This doesn’t surprise me as it is also happening where we are located on Victory Hill since the surrounding plots are fast being developed. A full perimeter wall would help unfortunately we can’t build one for now. Last month a cobra found it’s way to my staff door. Usually our dogs bark to alert us tho.

I know Pub Street has a bit of time left but l suspect their grey water goes into the swamp. Wonder if the fill is going to mean grey water will back flow as it can't get away.

Hope we dont get a big storm in next month.

Also the places each side of Pub St. The Cambodian resort, now some huge ass casino had the gym and pool down at that level. Probably gaming rooms now! Hope they also investing in sand bags!
