I don't know which company you're thinking of going with nor what a bimaran is. Do you mean catamaran? Anyway, if it's snorkelling with one of the diving companies I'd give it a miss.

Went on one about 10 days ago. About to go on another one this coming weekend with a group of girls.

Pretty reasonable value.

Better than staying on the islands IMHO, as there is limited airconditioning and electricity for the most part.

I do not know the one you mentioned, never heard of them and we sell those trips. I think you should find out who the operator is.

Loud John is tough on his mates, a group of girls. Those trips aren't bad, you get to see a bit if a few islands. You won't see many fish underwater though. A friend saw a rat on a reef on a trip recently.

It was Happy Boat. but they canceled for the day at the last minute - "trouble with he boat" our $ refunded. As it turns out, we were lucky. it rained most of the day.

slightly derailing the thread, i periodically see pictures on fb of really nice fish being caught from a little resort built over an inlet or creek on Otres?
Anyone know the place?

???????

3 to 4 young girls aged 7 to 9. My daughter and her best friends.

Actually we will do the fast ferry to Saloem then get a small boat to Kho Rong and the fast ferry back.

The tour boat is too slow and the girls will have more fun on the islands i think.

Will only cost a bit more than the one hours horse riding they sometimes do.
