Super Blue Blood Moon Eclipse - 31 January 2018

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Off topic but....

Why is Phuket still allowed to post?

So we cannot name posters previous usernames (something the mods made clear recently. I can’t remember the actual post now) because that’s classed as outing but his stunt posting someone from K440s personal information from LinkedIn is allowed?

Any form of outing should not be allowed on CEO, period.

Shit. You raise a valid point. I've had an extremely busy day and we've put 2 other members on Mod Preview today already, we had to delete some posts regarding the issue you're talking about, and it by the time I actually got around to reviewing what the hell had exactly happened, everything looked much more civil, so I just decided that nothing further needed to be done.

That said, it does look like he directly outed someone with a link to a professional page, and that is not OK on CEO.

I don't believe Richard Phuket has ever been banned here, and I also think the original story was confusing at best and considering the source, I'm guessing everyone who first read it assumed it was a total windup like I did, so maybe it was unintentional, so he'll have 24 hours off. Even Khmer440 admin left most of it up, so I really don't know if it was intentional, as they even appeared ok with it still being posted.

So yes, sorry for dropping the ball on this a few hours ago, but you're right, it's not tolerated. 24 hours.

Sadly here in PP it was a fizzer due to cloud cover. It was just visible but unexciting. I even went to Riverside for an hour hoping clouds would part long enough to get a look.

Oh well guess my great great grand kids may see it =@

Spent two hours in a freezing park in Ha Noi but no joy. Obviously today was cloudless and clear.
