sundance no more

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Just got back into town yesterday and noticed the Sundance has disappeared. When did that happen?

Maybe they mean Sundance 2 on the quay? That closed years ago.

Yea @johnny lightning must be referring to Sundance 2 on Riverside which closed a long time ago... Sundance 172 has been on the market for years but still there and still open.

Had a beer there a few weeks ago, couldn’t manage a second due to the other patrons. Something about sweaty fat bastards in singlets (tank tops) makes the beer less appealing.

Cali 2 (before it became Sundance 2) was one of the first places I had a beer in the Kingdom. Was always nice for some afternoon drinks without a large crowd. The owner (Jim?) seemed like a nice fellow as well. Place was just too far away to go consistently.

I, for one, am shocked. The last time I was in there they had a strict ties or cravats and a tailored coat policy in the bar area.

It is on 172.

Sundance on St.172 still open but on a new name, now the name is: Nacho Bell and use the well known Taco Bell logo on the outside neon signs.
