Wow. Glad this topic came up. Because my situation is similar. I have this bag. I put a bunch of stuff in the bag. I'm really lost as to what to do now. Thanks for your suggestions.

In another post, someone talked of a bunch of guys investing as a group in a bar as a kind of semi private place for mostly them. Ran regular most times I guess. I always thought this was a good idea. Maybe the FCC started out this way. Would be good for storing stuff for the on the move members. Make it a guesthouse and you'd have guaranteed lodgings too.
But to open an Expat Club would be trouble I spose. Seems this one the guy talked about was just an avg bar kinda thing that THEY had total control over. I often wondered if a U Store It place could make it. Likely no one would trust it, as soon as it got filled up the guys lease might go south and ALL their stuff would end up scattered across town. I mean who's stable there aside from the uber wealthy? Hmmm, a temple?

I've considered that here in SHV. Just renting a small guesthouse with a bar (I see the rent on many of them is only a few hundred a month with like 4 or 5 rooms) and turn it into my home, using the rooms for my office/etc. Then the bar downstairs we just keep "community stocked" but don't open to the public. Drink as we will. Sort of a badass man-cave to the extreme... a full bar.

I've considered that here in SHV. Re: Not a bad idea. Back in my uni years me and the flatmates living in 4 bedrooms 3 story flat. If not always, usually were broke before the end of the week on the student allowance. One of my flatmates came up with an ingenious idea; $10 all you can drink Friday night. The turnout was shocking than we anticipated...we stocked 20 cases of beer and cheap ass Vodkas. Was an easy $400 plus profit....until the cops come cracking down a few weeks later.
