storms

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

storms

Post by frank lee bent »

another round of early morning storms around PP on the way.
At the moment they are all coming from the Vietnam side rather than the Thai side which is normal.
It is the change of seasons I think
been a big hatch of these atlas moths around my place the past couple days

Wow that's quite a moth.

And yes, the thunderstorms have been blowing from the east, as opposed to the last six months or so when all the weather has been from the west. I have a new set of leaks to deal with now.

Saturday night's storm was a bit close for comfort. My place is a bit higher than the surrounding buildings. Maybe it's just as well it's constructed like a Faraday Cage... would probably still catch fire though.

That moth is amazing Frank. The weather site is very good too. I had a small problem with a snake today. I suppose he just wanted to be dry too.
