Stolen Dogs Prepared for Meat and Leather in Cambodia (VID)

Post by CEOCambodiaNews »

Cambodia: A video had surfaced showing Cambodians preparing dogs for dog meat and dog leather.

The dogs in the video are already dead so we do not know how they were treated when they were alive or how they were killed.

However, the dogs are presumed to be stolen and many Cambodians are quite about this video either way. Some think dogs are the same as other mammals/animals and have no problem with them being killed for meat and leather like other animals, including cows, pigs, etc.

Others think they are special animals and are often pets, so should not be killed.

Here is the video, which you can watch at your own discretion:

For me, it's very upsetting, because I love dogs. But I don't think it's any wronger (I think that's a word, LoL) than killing other animals for meat and leather.

Thank God chickens are such unpleasant, nasty creatures. You can slit their throats all the livelong day and no one gives a fiddler's fart.

I've got no problem per se, butt what really pisses me off is stealing people's dogs, pets or not.

Kill your own fucking dog, buy a dog to kill or breed some, don't go about taking other people's property.

I'd love to get my hands on the dog jao who's stolen some of the mutts around here, inc my own, as would some pretty pissed off Khmers.

I don't see how eating dog is any different to eating other forms of meat, but stealing people's pets is just fucked up.

There's lotsa dog rustlers in Thailand. Every week or 2 there will be an article in the BKK Post and a pic of a truck w/1000 dogs in cages on it. They steal 'em and sell 'em in Vietnam.

Some toerag youth in the next village was taken to hospital last week after falling off a bicycle and onto his bamboo pole and skewering his dog-stealing self, whilst out (allegedly) dognapping at night.

Hope it punctured some vital organs. Khunt.

Stealing someone's beloved pet and raising livestock are so far apart that I'm completely and utterly staggered by your comment. My dog's dad was stolen, presumably to be used as food, and it was devastating for the family that had raised him since he was a pup. Absolutely nothing like stealing some farmer's sheep or something.
