Stingy Japanese Publicly Shamed in Kampot

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

That’s how to handle a troublemaker.

I’m glad you’re rich enough to hand pick your customers. I’m less glad with how you bully those you refuse.

kampot is the soft target shaming capital of the world.
But this guy was rude, weird, obnoxious, etc..and carrying a money belt full of Dollars.
He'd already been kicked out of another place previously.
They take over areas and look down on locals
only if locals are short.

I think bartender is expecting us to take ' He'd already been kicked out of another place previously.' as gospel. I don't. How do you know, bartender? So a guy asks for hot water and he gets shamed on the internet. I wonder what kind of stuff you've done that would stand up to such scrutiny?

You sound like a riel keeper.

The guy went into a staff only kitchen and when he was asked to leave abused the staff. I assume it started as a lack of understanding and communication but it doesn't excuse his behavior. Try walking into any hotel anywhere in the world, walk into their kitchen and start trying to make your own lunch and see how it ends.

Haha, I sure never been called a saint. But i do have manners and respect.
Taken as gospel or not, Mr riel keeper, I witnessed it with mine own bifocals. After he'd been removed dancing naked from a communal bathroom.

Oh good god. Just the thought of doing that shit again... I don't work that industry for a long time anymore. Just spend my money on food and drink.

Strange this was somehow forgot in the original complaint that was made 2 days ago. "Man takes water for his soup" or "man thrown out for nude toilet tango" is a big difference, don't you think?

Anything else to add to change the story? Was he maybe raping kids and slapping women, or do we have the full picture to comment on now?

The naked dancing was in a different establishment, earlier.

Did these communal showers have cold water only?

Or did the Jap get some hot water for his noodle?
