I'd be more scared of terrorists of a certain religion targeting a soft target in an area with little serious anti-terrorist police presence.
If they could build bombs in a place like Belgium, they could easily find similar chemicals in SE Asia and stage attacks on a place like Pub Street or the Riverside.

There is a near zero chance of an ISIS attack in Cambodia. They attacked Brussels because it is the seat of European leadership not some S E Asian backwater where an attack would be forgotten minutes after it happened.ot mien kampf wrote:I'd be more scared of terrorists of a certain religion targeting a soft target in an area with little serious anti-terrorist police presence.

I note that once again Facebook weren't too keen on offering any way to show solidarity with the victims in the Lahore attack this week...

Re: US State Dept Warning Phnom Penh
Actually Bali is in the middle of an Islamist state - attacks happen in those because would be martyrs are cheap and easy to come by. (Tunisia, Egypt, Ivory Coast, etc. are the same). Cambodia? It's a fucking sideshow with a happy but tiny Islamic minority. There's no strategic benefit of an attack by ISIS in Cambodia and Cambodia's own Muslim population doesn't seem to ascribe to the joys of martyrdom. There is zero chance of an attack in Cambodia. There is a much higher chance of a civil war which will have very little (if anything) to do with Islam and an awful lot to do with wealth distribution and racism.frank lee bent wrote:That is what we thought about Bali too, until it happened. There is a near zero chance of an ISIS attack in Cambodia.
