US State Dept Warning Phnom Penh

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

If they could build bombs in a place like Belgium, they could easily find similar chemicals in SE Asia and stage attacks on a place like Pub Street or the Riverside.
There is a near zero chance of an ISIS attack in Cambodia. They attacked Brussels because it is the seat of European leadership not some S E Asian backwater where an attack would be forgotten minutes after it happened.

I note that once again Facebook weren't too keen on offering any way to show solidarity with the victims in the Lahore attack this week...
I wasn't aware that Ivory Coast and Burkina Faso were major political targets except for the small population of white expats who were targeted. You'd have to be naive to think that Cambodia isn't a very very soft target full of white tourists. If they could strike a tourist hotel or bar it would be all over the news like the Bangkok bombing.

Iron Man would crush the Cham in a heartbeat if he even remotely saw them as a threat to his vision and peace and prosperity. There was a wonderful article on that other board about this.
