there was one app that was suggested for this use that uses the accelerometer to stop them from working while they are moving over a certain speed. problem is it would impact passengers as well.

The place where I often long for a cell phone jammer is the airport. Whenever I'm sitting in the departure lounge, invariably someone will sit down near me and start carrying on a loud cell phone conversation.

I do use the business lounges pretty often, and I am often subjected to annoying cell phone calls there, but I didn't want to say "business lounge" because it would have sounded pretentious.

Thats sucks. I've never really noticed loud people in there, but it could easily be the time of day I tend to travel as well I guess. I generally shoot for overnight flights. Cheaper, more empty seats, and I can just sleep on the plane.
