Some rooms are naturally hotter or cooler than others

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

You should sit atop a mountain somewhere and allow plebs to adore you
It's truly astounding. Exposed to the sun=hot, not exposed to the sun=not as hot.

Yes, I just signed up my 4 year old but the application is still pending, apparently.

There seems an almost autistic vibe to things imo.

Explorer,

I know you're probably learning a lot of things, and it's always good to learn...but it's probably a good idea not to post up about everything you're discovering. You're probably young (nothing wrong with that), but there is a value to sitting back and realising you don't know very much (as we all have to).

It's alright, don't worry about changing the world in here Cambodia, many of "us" have been around far longer and have a lot more experience than you do, not just here but in life in general too. As said you're probably young, and you've only been here a year? or two.

So maybe lighten up on the posts from whatever insights you might gain as this is a public forum and your posts can be a bit cluttering and a distraction for what's really important, and understand you are a novice and don't know much compared to some seasoned expats (and not all of us are bar hopping rejects), but if you have a writing bug like I do, try writing in a journal or personal blog and that way it can help with whatever writing urges you have.

As for lurking around, do as much of that as you want and commenting is fine, but more so in the form of a question is probably better. Read a lot, learn to discern what is what, and most importantly (one of the hardest lessons I learned as a teenager) learn to listen.

But seriously mate, I think you've got a good heart, you just need to utilise it in the right way.
