Signs U C

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Samouth wrote:No. It reads: if you drink alcohol, please don't drive. It is a slogan that has been advertised on TV, news paper and some local restaurants for awhile.
And it obviously has a huge impact.....

A couple or three of the new signs appeared on the street, outside the CPP HQ, in the last week. Thank Buddha we have google translate and wiki to help us understand the meaning of them. OK, the last one is not to clear, but it reads '' Respect for human rights ''

Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Great thread idea, I always see amusing signs around but never think to take pictures, apart from this sandwich board at Blue Dog back in June which I found amusing.

I saw one at a music concert supporting a charity in SNV - "Reach out. Support Boys."
