I doubt so, Jamie is keen on beautiful freshie number ones, I am sure that by the end of the month some of the beer and food piles get redirected towards the entertainment one

Sorry to break it to you, but Most people don't choose to live your cheapest lifestyle, and every single khmer living next to you would move to a nicer place if he had the money and wasn't a drug addict.
Most people the world over like to buy crap,etc, it's not a just a Western thing. Go live in some poverty stricken western town, you'll probably be 'oh cool these people aren't materialistic' meanwhile they're just too damn poor to buy anything.
