Should Trapper be banned again?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

I've been living next to a hipster restaurant for the last few weeks and I am so ready to move in a new home. I've never heard so many people talk with such enthusiasm about literally nothing for hours on end. At least here on CEO I can listen to something else while posting, or work on a project...

You might also get that impression if you spent all your time here with alcoholic whore mongers, hipsters, or drug taking overstayers. I try and avoid those types, mainly because I have more productive things to do with my life. And I don't find them to be very interesting.
i have no idea what you 2 are talking about? what else is there to do here?
1. sit in bars and drink with cute asian chicks...
2. drink coffee and take selfies with street kids for facebook likes
3. eat happy pizzas whilst smoking a joint and forgetting that your visa ran out 8 months ago

maybe i just been living in SHV too long lol

Good post, :thumb:

One thing I wanted to add here is that I'm not trying to turn this into a "nanny forum" where the "kids" (us) are crying to mommy to make the decisions for them although I can understand how it seems like I might be. I'm a moderator on a forum myself, so I do completely understand the admin side, and sometimes you just want to be left alone and have everyone sort things out by themselves.

Personally where I stand is that I'm irritated by trapper because I think he's a deliberate idiot attention seeking troll, but I don't think he'll stop me from posting. We all have our bad days, we all have our quirks, and I think we can all admit to being that "special" breed of weird to be here on a discussion forum in Cambodia. So I don't want that spirit of things to go away honestly, and sometimes I actually like the retardery and shit that goes on here. It's that unique flavour that keeps things interesting.

The thing I do wish though were that there would be more insightful and interesting posters, so that's one reason I'm speaking up strongly on the opposing side because I know so many good people that could possibly add much more "colour" and insight into the forum, but refuse to follow along because of the trolls.

However, I'm done voicing the "opposing" side because I think both sides have been represented fairly.

Carry on gents!

Mate, you and me seem to disagree a lot. It is what it is. But I agree with most of your post here. Well put.

I should add that I edited your post to take out what I didn't agree with, but that doesn't change the fact that I think what you wrote was spot on mate! An insightful, helpful, on topic comment with no bloody memes!

My wife and I literally disagree about 95% of the time, but we still get along fine. I don't mind with people disagreeing with me, I think it's healthy and it also keeps life interesting.

Shit, AE, I actually thought I was replying to Phuket Richard. I agree with you most of the time ( hate your fukn memes though, but that's just me :stir: ). If I'm confusing you with PR, it must be time for me to self moderate for the night I think! Good night and sweet dreams all!
