This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Actually once in Battambang, I attended a wedding where they only played Santana, except for about 3 songs

Then I realised it's also the type of music, not just the volume/distortion that pees us off

Exactly. Whilst sitting in front of the loudspeakers is agony, it is not just the volume but the fact that it is crap music blasted through a crap music system.

I hate when it starts pissing down rain right on midday.

So, what to do? Wait it out, then try going home through the floods. Or, call for a delivery and wait 2 hours while the delivery guy negotiates the floods.
